I. Epidemic situation
During the 20th week of 2019, there were a total of 3,717 cases of 16 kinds of legal infectious diseases reported, and 2 cases died in the city. The five diseases with a large number of cases are Influenza, Other Infectious Diarrhea, Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease, Tuberculosis and Dysentery.

II. Key epidemic situation
The overall incidence of infectious diseases in our city dropped significantly this week, but the incidence of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease and Chickenpox increased. At present, the incidence of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease in our city has decreased significantly compared with the data of the same period last year, but the incidence has increased in the past two weeks compared to the data of last month. The patients are mainly children aged 5 years and younger (77% of the patient this week are in this age group). It is suggested that parents of children at this age continue to take measures for the Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease prevention. The child care institutions shall focus on strengthening the implementation of health examinations in the morning and noon, implementing prevention and control of various infectious diseases, and jointly safeguarding children's health.
At present, it is also in the high season of Chickenpox. Because it can spread through the respiratory tract or by contacting with the fluid in the herpes, it can also be transmitted through clothes, toys, etc., and it is easy to cause cluster epidemics in schools and child care institutions. Parents are advised to vaccinate school-age children in accordance with the prescribed procedures. Schools and child care institutions should pay close attention to the health status of students and children, and report epidemics early to prevent the spread of the epidemic.
