I. Epidemic situation 
During the 18th week of 2019, there were a total of 5,283 cases of 16 kinds of legal infectious diseases reported, and 2 cases died in the city. The five diseases with a large number of cases are Influenza, Other Infectious Diarrhea, Tuberculosis, Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease and Syphilis. 

II. Key epidemic situation 
The overall incidence of infectious diseases in this city this week has dropped significantly compared to last week, which may be related to the decrease in the number of visits during the May Day holiday. The incidence of Influenza continues to decline rapidly, while the incidence of measles and rubella increases slightly, and the date of other typical infectious diseases in spring are generally stable.
After May, the city entered the high season of intestinal infectious diseases. The citizens shall pay attention to food and drinking sanitation and personal hygiene. Collective units such as schools and child care institutions should continue to do inspection in morning and noon and implement daily disinfection measures strictly. Once an acute gastroenteritis epidemic is detected, it should be reported in time and relative personnel should take preventive measures under the guidance of relevant professionals.
The number of reported cases of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease in the city has gradually increased from April, and the peak of incidence period is from May to July. The pathogen monitoring results show that CV-A6 is the dominant pathogen of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease. Hospitals, disease control and child care institutions should improve the ability to diagnose and dispose of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease caused by CV-A6. Parents of children under 5 years old are the key targeted group of the publication of prevention and treatment of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease and EV-A71 vaccination.
