Weekly Epidemic Report (from December 18, 2017 to December 24, 2017)

I. Epidemic situation

During the 51st week of 2017 (from December 18, 2017 to December 24, 2017), there were a total of 15 kinds of legal infectious diseases and a total of 7,663 cases reported, and 1 cases died in the city. The five diseases with a large number of cases are influenza, other infectious diarrhea, tuberculosis, scarlet fever and hand-foot-mouth disease accounting for 95.13% of the reported cases of legal infectious diseases.

 

II. Key epidemic situation

(I) Influenza

A total of 5,298 cases were reported this week, increased by 81.44% as compared with last week, as shown in Figure 1.

(II) Other infectious diarrheal diseases

A total of 1,435 cases were reported this week, increased by 7.25% as compared with last week, as shown in Figure 2.

(III) Scarlet fever

A total of 169 cases were reported this week, increased by 15.75% as compared with last week, as shown in Figure 3.

(IV) Hand-foot-mouth disease

A total of 165 cases were reported this week, decreased by 28.88% as compared with last week, as shown in Figure 4.
