Weekly Epidemic Report (from December 4, 2017 to December 10, 2017)

I. Epidemic situation

During the 49th week of 2017 (from December 4, 2017 to December 10, 2017), there were a total of 17 kinds of legal infectious diseases and a total of 3,684 cases reported, and 7 cases died in the city. The five diseases with a large number of cases are influenza, other infectious diarrhea, hand-foot-mouth disease, tuberculosis and scarlet fever, accounting for 88.03% of the reported cases of legal infectious diseases.

 

II. Key epidemic situation

(I) Influenza

A total of 1,386 cases were reported this week, increased by 121.76% as compared with last week, as shown in Figure 1.

(II) Other infectious diarrheal diseases

A total of 1,188 cases were reported this week, increased by 25.32% as compared with last week, as shown in Figure 2.

(III) Hand-foot-mouth disease

A total of 337 cases were reported this week, decreased by 29.94% as compared with last week, as shown in Figure 3.

(IV) Scarlet fever

A total of 162 cases were reported this week, increased by 24.62% as compared with last week, as shown in Figure 4.
