In winter, gas poisoning incidents are very common. First aid on the spot is especially important.

It is advised to quickly open the doors and windows, remove the patient out to let him or her breathe oxygen. It is necessary to unfasten the patient's clothes button, let the patient breathe smoothly. It is suggested to keep the patient warm and call the emergency number. After leaving the scene, the patient should take the lateral position. You should remove foreign body from the patient’s respiratory tract. If the patient stops breathing and has cardiopulmonary arrest, CPR should be conducted immediately.

The following precautions should be kept in mind. When using small fire sources such as charcoal braziers, candles, and incense oils indoors, be careful to keep ventilation and do not close the doors and windows at the same time. Gas water heaters should be installed in a well-ventilated location, and should not be installed in the bathroom. It is recommended to choose a strong-discharge type water heater and the exhaust pipe should be connected to the outside. If you smell the gas after entering the room, you should quickly open the doors and windows, and then check for gas leaks. Do not ignite anything. It is necessary to check the tightness of the gas equipment once a month and any leak should be disposed of in a timely manner and it is suggested to install a gas leak alarm device indoors. Before the gas equipment is cleaned and overhauled, the residual gas must be cleared after the test. In a closed garage or a basement where air is not circulating, do not use the car engine for a long time and do not sit in the car for a long time.
