From November 13th to 15th, the Beijing Municipal Health Commission held a training course on the health emergency plan in 2023. More than 100 comrades in charge of health emergency work from the district health commissions in Beijing and municipal and district medical and health institutions participated in the training.

At the training class, the Emergency Office of the Municipal Health Commission conducted a comprehensive interpretation of the "Emergency Plan for Emergency Medical Rescue of Beijing Municipal Health Commission (2023 Revision)". The Municipal Public Health Emergency Management Center analyzed the submission process of the information on emergency medical rescue in detail. The experts from Peking University, the Social Construction Committee of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Beijing Academy of Science and Technology, Beijing Emergency Center and other units were invited to give systematic training on the health emergency plan system of public health emergencies in China, the formulation and operation of public health emergency plans, the analysis of the "Beijing Regulations on Emergency Response to Public Health Emergencies", discussion on the direction and path of digital development of emergency plans, and analysis of emergency plans and cases of public health emergencies. At the same time, the trainees were arranged to discuss and communicate in groups on the current health emergency work based on the actual relevant work of Beijing.

Health emergency planning is one of the core contents of health emergency preparation and an important guarantee for timely, orderly and efficient health emergency response. The training will improve the construction level of the health emergency plan system in Beijing, and continuously strengthen the comprehensive health emergency capabilities by early detection and focusing on prevention.
