In order to promote new progress in the construction of patriotic health movement and healthy Beijing construction in the city in 2022, on April 1, the plenary meeting 2022 of the Patriotic Health Movement Committee and a teleconference on the healthy Beijing construction was held, summarizing Beijing's situation in 2021 and deploying the work in the next stage.

The meeting was presided over by Chen Bei, deputy secretary-general of the Municipal Government. Yu Luming, vice chairman of the municipal CPPCC, deputy director of the Municipal Committee of Patriotic Health Movement, and director of the Municipal Health Commission, reported on the patriotic health movement and healthy Beijing construction work in 2021. Three representatives from the Municipal Sports Bureau, Chaoyang District and Daxing District made typical speeches.

Lu Yan, director of the Municipal Committee of Patriotic Health Movement, director of the Promotion Committee of Healthy Beijing Action, and deputy mayor, made an important speech. He pointed out that 2022 is the year of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and an important link in the implementation of the "14th Five-Year Plan". It is necessary to adhere to the close integration of patriotic health movement and epidemic prevention and control, and new ideas and methods. It is necessary to complete the three-year patriotic health movement and the phased target tasks of the Healthy Beijing Action. We should make every effort to do a good job in epidemic prevention and control and service guarantee during the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, mobilize the masses of the people and all forces to participate in the patriotic health movement, and do a good job of pilot on assessment and evaluation of health impact. All districts, departments, and units should provide support and guarantee in organizational leadership, work input, publicity and mobilization, and continue to make efforts to promote patriotic health work and the healthy Beijing construction.
