In order to thoroughly implement the "Beijing Regulations on Smoking Control", on March 22, 2022, the Municipal Health Commission, the Municipal Comprehensive Law Enforcing Bureau of City Administration, and the Municipal Office of Committee of Patriotic Health Movement organized a Training Course (online) 2022 on Tobacco Control Ability Improvement.

The Municipal Comprehensive Law Enforcing Bureau of City Administration and the Municipal Health Commission have separately put forward requirements for the related work after the tobacco control law enforcement is implemented to the streets and villages. The Municipal Office of Committee of Patriotic Health Movement put forward key tasks in 2022. Relevant experts from the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Municipal Justice Bureau, Municipal Health Supervision Office, Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Municipal Tobacco Control Association, and the Fengtai District Health Commission shared explanations and experience on the construction of a smoke-free environment, administrative law enforcement in townships and villages, law enforcement work skills, adult tobacco investigation and tobacco control volunteer services. A total of 1,281 persons in charge of the relevant work of the health commissions, urban management and law enforcement bureaus, patriotic health movement offices, and disease control centers of all districts, as well as persons in charge of patriotic health work in all districts, towns, and villages, and comprehensive administrative law enforcement officers participated in the training.

The Municipal Health Commission and the Municipal Office of Committee of Patriotic Health Movement will carefully summarize experience, coordinate the Municipal Comprehensive Law Enforcing Bureau of City Administration to organize training in a timely manner, improve the ability of tobacco control work in various districts, and fulfill the main responsibility of tobacco control.
