Date:08/20/2021

On the afternoon of August 11, Beijing held the 238th press conference on the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic. Pang Xinghuo, deputy director of the Beijing Center for Diseases Control and Prevention, notified at the meeting that from 0:00 to 24:00 on August 10, one new case of asymptomatic infection of local COVID-19 associated with place outside Beijing was turned to a confirmed case, and there were no new suspected cases or asymptomatic infection.

Active reporting, timely detection, and timely management and control are the keys to controlling the spread of the epidemic, which can effectively reduce the social impact and prevention and control costs brought about by the spread of the epidemic. Therefore, it is reminded that personnel who enter (return to) Beijing should take the initiative to log in to the mini programs of Beijing Health kit and Jingxin Help, fill in their personal information accurately and completely, and take personal protection on the road.

What should we do if there is a red code or a yellow code shown in the Health kit?

If the health code turns red or yellow, from the perspective of epidemic prevention, it may happen to people at a certain risk of infection. Please follow the pop-up prompts to report to the community, unit or hotel where you live immediately, provide the individual's recent travel history, contact history, and personal health status truthfully and accurately, and no concealment or omission of reporting is allowed. People with red or yellow health code should cooperate with prevention and control measures such as epidemiological investigation, health screening, nucleic acid testing, and quarantine observation. Pay close attention to your own health. If you have suspicious symptoms such as fever, dry cough, fatigue, etc., you should wear a mask and go to the fever clinic of a nearby hospital in time. Do not use medication by yourself, and do not go to an unqualified clinic to avoid delay in diagnosis and treatment. It is not recommended to take public transportation to see a doctor, bring illness to work, or go out at will. After the health code turns green, you can move freely.
