From May 30 to 31, Beijing continued to carry out weekend cleaning  activities. All districts continued to play a role in group prevention and  control, jointly build a sharing mechanism, and coordinate irregular movements  and routine activities. First, all districts should actively mobilize social  units and residents to carry out general cleaning. The second is to continue to  promote the "Health Convention for Capital Citizens". The third is to promote  garbage classification and publicity on World No Tobacco Day. This weekend is  the 33rd World No Tobacco Day, and this month is also the month for the city to  implement garbage classification. Mentougou, Tongzhou, Fangshan, Shunyi, Yanqing  and other districts in Beijing, combining World No Tobacco Day and garbage  classification, publicized relative knowledge and created an atmosphere for mass  participation.

　　During the event, a total of 190,000 person (times), and 8,767 vehicles  (times), were organized, clearing and transporting more than 10,000 tons of  garbage, clearing 36,000 unclean corners, and distributing 309,000 copies of  various publicity materials.
