Recently, the “Beijing Elderly Health Care Platform” developed by Beijing  Normal University commissioned by the Beijing Municipal Committee for Elderly  Services was officially launched.

　　The elderly are the susceptible and high-risk group of the COVID-19. Due to  the large elderly population in Beijing, it is necessary to emphasize the  prevention and control of COVID-19 in the elderly. In order to care for the  physical and mental health of the elderly and help the elderly to prevent and  fight the epidemic scientifically and effectively, achieving epidemic prevention  and control as well as physical and mental health for the elderly, the State Key  Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning and Brain Health Research  Center for Senior Citizens of Beijing Normal University have designed and  developed the "Beijing Elderly Health Care Platform".

　　The platform focuses on the physical and mental health problems of the  elderly in the epidemic situation, including the four modules of "epidemic  education", "psychological evaluation", "brain and mental health care" and  "physical and mental adjustment". It is a comprehensive application platform for  solving psychological problems of the elderly due to cognitive anxiety and  publicizing health knowledge during the period.
