Date:03/03/2020

On February 21, the Medical Security Team of the Beijing Leading Group of  Epidemic Prevention and Control issued the "Adjustment and Optimization of Fever  Outpatient Clinics in Beijing on Keeping Fever Clinics of 76 Hospitals in  Beijing." From 00:00 on February 22th, the fever clinics in Beijing are adjusted  and optimized. 76 are retained, and some of the external services of fever  clinics are suspended. According to expert evaluations, the fever clinic of  Changping Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital has been  suspended from 00:00 on February 27th. After a week of adjustment and  optimization, the consultation process of the fever clinics of the city's  medical institutions were further optimized, the management of fever clinics was  strengthened, and the training for medical staff on prevention and control of  nosocomial infections was conducted again. At present, the order of the patients  at fever clinics is stable, and the institutions that have suspended the  consultations have done a good job of publicity and patient guidance. The  retained fever clinics have updated their navigation information on Amap and  Baidu Map. In the past week, there were 20,000 patients received and 145  suspected cases found.

Citizens are advised to keep abreast of the location of the fever clinic in  the area where they live and work, and monitor their physical condition daily.  If symptoms such as body temperature over 37.3℃, dry cough or sore throat,  please go to the nearest fever clinic as soon as possible. During the  consultation, personal protection should be done throughout the process. It is  necessary to wear a mask, follow the guidance of hospital staff and actively  tell the medical staff whether you have recently been to the epidemic areas or  places with cases diagnosed or whether you have been close to patients with  fever, cough and other symptoms. The contact history is necessary for medical  staff to accurately judge the condition and take timely and appropriate  diagnosis and treatment measures.
