From 20:00 on January 29th to 8:00 on the 30th, 3 new cases of 2019-nCoV pneumonia were newly diagnosed in Beijing.
As of 8:00 on the 30th, a total of 114 cases were confirmed in this city, including 4 cured and discharged from hospital and 1 dead. The 109 confirmed cases under treatment were all treated in isolation at municipal designated hospitals.
In order to guide the community (village) to prevent and control the 2019-nCoV pneumonia scientifically and orderly, according to requirements, this city has formulated a work plan for the prevention and control for communities (villages) on the coronavirus infection. We adhere to the principles of “early detection, early reporting, early isolation, early diagnosis, and early treatment”, and we must conscientiously implement prevention and control measures and work hard to control the spread of the disease. The main tasks of the health sector include the following contents.
The health sector should guide the community in health education and patriotic health campaigns. All districts should carry out extensive health education in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Office of Patriotic Health Movement, organize prevention and elimination of vector organisms timely, and effectively reduced virus density. The community (village) should communicate the core information of disease prevention and health reminders with each family and individual through publicity boards, public letters, hanging slogans, WeChat public accounts, WeChat groups, etc. It is necessary to make all the members wear masks and not shake hands, wash hands frequently, gather less, and cover nose and mouth when coughing. Public places should be cleaned, disinfected and ventilated.
The health sector should guide the community in health management. When there is 1 confirmed case in one family or 2 or more cases in the same unit of a family or a building, the disease prevention and control office shall notify the information of close contacts to the street (town), community (village). Home or intensive medical observations should be carried out for close contacts. Community health service staff should follow up the health status of close contacts daily. Once symptoms such as fever and dry cough are found, it should be immediately reported to the district health department, and prompt medical assistance should be provided. If community transmission occurs, technical support should be actively provided with the guidance of the territorial government.
It is hoped that the citizens in Beijing stay safe and healthy.
