Municipal Health Commission Organized Deployment Meeting on Infectious Disease Prevention and Control and Training Meeting on Newly Imported Infectious Diseases in Summer and Autumn

On August 23, 2019, the Municipal Health Commission organized a deployment meeting on infectious disease prevention and control and a training meeting on newly imported infectious diseases in summer and autumn to deploy the prevention and control tasks of infectious disease in the next stage. Technical training was carried out on new infectious diseases such as Ebola hemorrhagic fever, influenza, avian-human influenza.
At the meeting, the Municipal Center for Diseases Prevention and Control notified the recent monitoring and disposal of key infectious diseases in the city, and made a judgment on the risk of the next stage of infectious disease outbreaks, and made professional recommendations. The Disease Control Office of the Municipal Health Commission reported on the supervision and inspection of infectious diseases in summer.
In response to the situation and tasks of prevention and control of infectious diseases in our city, Huang Ruogang, deputy director of Diseases Prevention and Control Department of the Municipal Health Commission, pointed out that all districts and institutions should further improve their political awareness, enhance their sense of responsibility, mission and urgency, and resolutely implement all measures for prevention and control, do a good job in the prevention and control of infectious diseases and mental health in summer and autumn.
After the meeting, experts from Beijing Ditan Hospital and China Center for Disease Control and Prevention were invited to carry out training on the research development, treatment and diagnosis standards, cases management and prevention and control strategies of new and possibly imported infectious diseases such as Ebola hemorrhagic fever, Middle East respiratory syndrome, influenza and avian-human influenza.
The directors of the district health commissions, centers for diseases prevention and control and the second and third-level medical institutions, the second-level training teachers of the disease control institutions, and the elites of the relevant departments of the Municipal Center for Diseases Prevention and Control participated in the deployment and training meeting.
