2020 National Completion Theoretical Assessment of Standardized Training for Resident Doctors Held Orderly

  The 2020 National Completion Theoretical Assessment of Standardized  Training for Resident Doctors was held on August 16. A total of 3380 residents  (Medical Master Degree Candidates) from 33 training bases in Beijing and 7  medical universities inside and outside Beijing participated in the assessment  at 5 test sites.

  The 2020 resident doctor’s training completion assessment will be changed  from twice a year to once, and it is not linked to the 2020 medical master's  degree. Residents (medical masters) can apply for the completion assessment  within three years after completing the training.

  Chen Xinyu, deputy director of the Science and Education Department of the  National Health Commission, and Pan Suyan, member of the Party Committee of the  Beijing Municipal Health Commission, Secretary of the Party Committee and  Director of the Municipal Administration of Hospitals, visited the test site at  the ATA International Certification Center and listened to the report on the  completion assessment work of Beijing's 2020 resident training and conducted an  on-site inspection of the examination room. Deputy Director Chen Xinyu spoke  highly of the result of Beijing's resident training work and its demonstration  role in the country, and confirmed Beijing’s innovative ideas in the training of  medical and prevention integration. He expressed that the National Health  Commission would continue to provide support to Beijing, and hoped that Beijing  will play a more innovative and leading role for China.
