During the 14th week of 2022, there were a total of 1258 cases of 14 kinds of legal infectious diseases reported, and 2 cases died in Beijing. The top five diseases with a large number of cases are Influenza, Other Infectious Diarrhea, Tuberculosis, Viral Hepatitis, and Syphilis, accounting for 89.8% of the total number of cases of legal infectious diseases.

II. Health tips for key epidemic situation

This week, the number of reported cases of legal infectious diseases in Beijing decreased by 27.5% compared with last week, which is generally at a low level. Respiratory infectious diseases and intestinal infectious diseases were the main reported diseases, the cases of which accounted for 46.5% and 25.0% of the reported cases, respectively.

The current global epidemic situation is still at a high level, and the domestic epidemic situation is still severe and complicated. Citizens should continue to take personal protection measures. First, it is not recommended to leave Beijing unless it is necessary in the near future. Citizens should avoid traveling or going on business trips to medium and high-risk areas, or purchasing goods from countries and regions with frequent epidemics. Unnecessary dinner parties should be cancelled. It is necessary to adhere to regular prevention and control measures such as wearing masks correctly, frequent hand washing and ventilation, and less gathering. The second is that people with risk should take the initiative to report related information, and people entering or returning to Beijing should strictly implement prevention and control measures such as nucleic acid testing and health monitoring. Third, if you have symptoms such as fever, dry cough, or diarrhea, you should not go to school or take part in social activities. It is necessary to take the initiative for COVID-19 screening, seek medical treatment in time, and tell the doctor your travel history, contact history, etc., for a timely investigation.
