II. Health tips for key epidemic situation

The number of reported cases of legal infectious diseases in Beijing this week has slightly decreased compared with last week, and is generally at a low level. Intestinal infectious diseases (Dysentery, Other Infectious Diarrhea, Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease) are the main reported diseases, the cases of which accounted for 60.0% of the reported number.

Summer and autumn are the seasons for high incidence of intestinal infectious diseases. High temperature and rainfall may lead to the growth, reproduction and spread of intestinal pathogenic microorganisms. Prevention and control should be strengthened continuously. Citizens should raise their awareness of personal health, pay attention to personal hygiene, wash hands frequently, and develop good hygiene habits. It is necessary to keep a reasonable diet, and refrain from eating raw and cold foods and uncooked foods. It is recommended to reduce eating out and gatherings, eliminate channels of infection, and prevent diseases from entering the mouth.

At present, the global epidemic situation is still experiencing high incidence, and it is spreading in many places in China. The situation of epidemic prevention and control in Beijing is severe and complicated. Citizens should continue to strictly implement normalized epidemic prevention measures. First, it is not encouraged to leave the country or Beijing unless it is necessary. It is recommended to avoid going to high-risk areas or gatherings. Second, personnel entering and returning to Beijing must consciously cooperate with checkpoints and other places, promptly and actively report the itinerary to the community, unit and hotel where they are located, and cooperate with the prevention and control requirements such as scanning code, temperature testing, health monitoring, and nucleic acid testing. Third, in public places, citizens should insist on wearing masks scientifically, maintain safe social distance, and pay attention to hand hygiene. Fourth, it is suggested to actively get vaccinated against the COVID-19. Qualified citizens who have not yet been vaccinated should be vaccinated as soon as possible. The fifth is to pay attention to the changes in the epidemic, keep abreast of the official epidemic information, and the situation in the medium and high-risk areas in China.
