I. Epidemic overview

During the 31st week of 2021, there were a total of 1574 cases of 15 kinds of legal infectious diseases reported, and 5 cases died in Beijing. The top five diseases with a large number of cases are Other Infectious Diarrhea, Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease, Tuberculosis, Dysentery, and Syphilis, accounting for 83.3% of the total number of cases of legal infectious diseases.

II. Health tips for key epidemic situation

The number of reported cases of legal infectious diseases in Beijing this week has decreased compared with last week, and is generally at a low level. Intestinal infectious diseases (Other Infectious Diarrhea, Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease, and Dysentery) were the main reported diseases, the cases of which accounted for 64.9% of the reported number.

Recently, local cases have appeared in many places across the country. Citizens should continue to enhance the awareness of protection, be the first person responsible for your own health, and implement the relevant epidemic prevention requirements of Beijing. Do not leave the country or Beijing unless necessary, and do not go to areas with medium and high risks and areas where cases have appeared. It is recommend to wear masks scientifically, actively get vaccinated against the COVID-19, wash your hands and ventilate frequently, and avoid going to crowded and poorly ventilated places. You should consciously comply with the epidemic prevention measure such as wearing masks, temperature testing, verifying health codes, and one-meter social distance in public places such as shopping malls and supermarkets.
